Shortly after moving to New York, Ryan was cast in his first professional stage job, Tony n’ Tina’s wedding. While his years acting in the company, Ryan toured with several shows, playing multiple characters. When the show closed he joined a professional theatre company (Half Moon) located in the Hudson Valley and acted in several of their regional productions. From there he became involved with Howl Playwrights, a writer’s group consisting of Half Moon members, with which he is still currently active. During this time, Ryan teamed up with Jester Pictures writing and acting in a short film (Jack Is Pretty) which went on to win 18 awards globally. Now part of Jester Pictures he has been involved with several short films and film competitions.
Residing in Los Angeles, Ryan is completing his first novel, which is intended to be the first volume of a trilogy.
